Emphasis will be on elementary soccer skills with skirmishes at end of each session. Look for the special coloured registration forms for this division. Fee is $55 but multiple child discount does not apply for this division.

ATTENTION ALL COACHES

OSA has developed a new training program in 2012 for all coaches. The Long Term Player Development Program (LPTD) consists of 4 modules but coaches only have to take the module that applies to the age group they are coaching.

It is no longer necessary to start with the first one before taking any others.

OSMSA will be offering all 4 modules with dates & facilities booked as follows:

Active Start module for U4 to U6 teams - Sat May 5th 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at West Hill SS.   4 hours

FUNdamentals module for U6 to U9 teams - Sun May 6th 8:30 am to 5 pm at West Hill SS. 8 hours

Learn to Train module for U9 to U12 male & U8 to U11 female teams - Sat March 31st & Sun April 1st 8:30 am to 5 pm both days at OSCVI.  16 hours

Soccer for Life module for U12 & up male & female teams - Sat March 24th & Sun March 25th 8:30 am to 5 pm both days at West Hill SS. 16 hours

This module is also required for all competitive coaches who have not previously received their Senior certification.

More information about these new clinics is available on the OSA website www.ontariosoccer.net under Coach clinic. We will also have info at our registration nights where we will be taking names for these modules.

A new requirement by OSA thru the Coaches Association of Ontario is the Making Ethical Decisions course (MED) which is offered online or at a clinic. We are hoping to have an MED clinic on Sat May 5th 1pm to 5 pm at West Hill. Confirmation of this to follow.
