House league online refunds are delayed. I apologize for how long this is taking. I thought that paying the online registrar to do their refunds would be fast but it's two weeks later and ... hopefully Sportsengine will send some refunds this week. I suppose they are busy processing lots of cancellations. Lesson learned.

I have mailed cheques to everyone who paid by cash or cheque except for one guy who didn't give us his email address and doesn't answer his phone. You know who you are. Check your voice mail.

Online registration: Sportsengine got back to me today with their list of refund recipients. I confirmed it. Tomorrow they should send me an invoice. Hopefully they can deduct the amount directly from our bank account and start sending refunds.

For people who paid by cheque or cash: the first batch of cheques were mailed this morning. I will mail some more tomorrow. I have printed a cheque for everyone who confirmed their payment details by email or telephone.

I sent the first batch of email messages to people who had paid by cash or cheque. 

Some paper registration forms did not include an email address. I will phone those people tomorrow.

Some paper registration forms are incomplete (i.e. they don't show how much the registrants paid). I need to look those people up in the registration night checklists in the soccer office. So they must wait until I'm back in Owen Sound on June 28th.

My conversation with SportsEngine yesterday was brief. They confirmed that our online refund request is in the queue and I can expect a follow up call from them by the end of the week. I will post an update when I receive their next call.

House League Online: I submitted the request to SportsEngine to refund everyone who paid online. They said three to five days to process the request, then another three to five days for the credit card companies to do their thing. So online refunds should be received by July 3rd.

Development/Rep Online: I sent refunds to online rep registrants except for two who must receive cheques. The online rep refunds should be received in five days.

Paper registrations: I have the paper forms and will start going through them tonight to confirm names and addresses for cheques. The first batch of cheques will go in the mail June 29th. Which is probably too late to received cheques by the end of June, but maybe July 3rd is reasonable.

I will issue refunds to everyone who has registered and paid OSMSA for the 2020 outdoor season.

Most people paid online. Tomorrow (Friday June 19th) I will contact our online registration partner SportsEngine to determine the easiest way to refund everyone who paid online. Hopefully online registrations can be done en masse and online registrants should receive their refunds to the original credit card within ten days. I will post an update tomorrow regarding SportsEngine's refund process.

Some people paid by cash or cheque. For those registrants: sometime during the next week (June 19th to June 26th) I will contact you by email or phone to confirm the name and address for your refund cheque. Please do not contact me ... for accountability reasons I have to use the contact details from the paper registration sheets.

Everyone should have their refund by the end of June. If you haven't received a refund by July 5th then please contact me at treasurer@owensoundminorsoccer.ca.
